City of Escondido Recycled Water Easterly Agriculture Distribution System (RWEADS)
Project Overview
Mr. Reilly was the Construction Manager for the Recycled Water Easterly Agriculture Distribution System (RWEADS) for the City of Escondido. The scope of services included construction management and inspection services for this project that involved the installation of approximately 1.8 miles of 8-inch through 20-inch HDPE and DI recycled water pipelines and appurtenances on agricultural land within the County of San Diego, east of the City of Escondido. Terrain was hilly and underlain with granite rock in much of the alignment. Blasting of rock was required. Six prefabricated pipe bridges were required to span natural drainage courses. Installation of six 4-inch and four 3-inch recycled water meters and other miscellaneous valves and appurtenances was included. Value of the project was $6.2M.
